Responsibilities
- Under supervision of the Director of Implementations, carry out tasks associated to completing a variety of projects and implementation tasks
- Assist with technical support issues when required
- Follow and enforce policies and processes established by the IT team operations
- Have an automobile and be able to use it for work related functions
- Flexible hours evenings and weekends
- Be available for after hours or on-site support if needed.
- Highly motivated and can learn quickly
- Attain certification objectives required by Fencecore IT Solutions
Required Skills And/Or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related field preferred
- 4-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Server Administration, Windows, Virtualization, VMware and Hyper-V Image deployment, patching, updating, software distribution
- Hypervisors, SAN, vSAN, Hyperconvergence
- Solid networking knowledge – Switches, Routers, VPN, Firewalls, Wireless
- Strong knowledge of VLANs
- Active Directory management experience
- Active Directory deployment and Active Directory migrations
- Microsoft Exchange Server Management
- Migration from on-premises exchange server to Exchange Online
- Microsoft Exchange online management and troubleshooting
- Traffic analysis, Services monitoring, Systems audit
- Experience working with ticketing systems, automatic monitoring, software distribution
- Cloud based applications and services including Office 365, Azure, Azure AD
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Azure AD Connect
- Strong technical knowledge of MS Windows 7/8/10 and Mac OSX
- Experience in PC and MAC hardware/software installations and issue resolutions
- PC migrations to Windows 10
- Good understanding of setting up and troubleshooting MACs
- Solid working experience in installing and integrating new hardware
- Experience with VOIP Systems
- Spam Filter deployment and troubleshooting
- Good understanding of how to deploy backups for various types of environments including VMWare, Hyper-V, Windows, MAC, Office 365, etc.
- Strong experience in troubleshooting and debugging IT systems
- Nice to have: Linux usage/admin experience
- A “can-do” attitude and comfortable managing competing priorities
- Focus on customer satisfaction
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and resolve problems in a timely manner
- A strong sense of responsibility and initiative and an ability to complete tasks accurately
