What is a SPLA License?

The Services Provider License Agreement (SPLA) is a licensing program from Microsoft that allows service providers like Fencecore to offer Microsoft software to our customers on a monthly subscription basis.

SPLAs allow you to use Microsoft products—such as Windows Server, SQL Server, and other essential applications—without the need to purchase individual licenses. Fencecore handles all the licensing and compliance, providing you with flexible and scalable access to the software you need for your operations.

How Does This Affect Your Business?

As a result of Microsoft’s price increase, the cost of the Microsoft SPLA licenses included in your monthly invoice will rise by 10%+ starting January 2025. This change will automatically be reflected in your billing. Fencecore wanted to give you ample notice so you can plan accordingly.

No action is currently required on your part. However, if you have any questions or concerns about how this change affects your account, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Our team is here to assist you and provide any additional information you may need.
